The AccuTOF™ GC-Alpha provides powerful tools for the analysis of petroleum and related products. The system provides high-resolution, exact mass data for classical GC/MS analysis with electron ionization. Soft ionization methods are available as options, including chemical ionization (CI) and electron capture negative-ion analysis (ECNI), field ionization (FI), field desorption (FD), and photoionization (PI). All of these methods can be combined with comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC) to provide powerful capabilities for complex mixture analysis.
