各種の分析において、入力信号の(S/N）²と出力(検出された)信号の（S/N）²の比。理想的な検出器の場合はDQEは1になる。

"Detective quantum efficiency (DQE)" is the ratio of (S/N)² of the output (detection) signal to the (S/N)² of the input signal in various analyses. In the case of the ideal detector, DQE reaches 1.
