多くの成分波形からなるスペクトルの全体波形を成分波形の和に分解すること。分光スペクトルの解析に頻繁に使われる。

"Curve fitting" is to decompose an entire spectrum into the sum of the component spectra. It is frequently used in spectroscopic analysis.
