エネルギーを失わずに、進行方向のみを変える電子の散乱。
入射電子の中には試料表面近くで数回の散乱を経て、エネルギーを失わないまま入射点近傍から試料外に飛び出すものがある。

Scattering of electrons without energy loss where the scattering electrons change only the travelling direction. Some incident electrons jump out from the specimen near the incident point without losing their energy after several scatterings near the surface of the specimen.
